Ted Berry, SSYWG Treasurer:

 

Ted has a PhD in economics but he worked, for most of his career, in technology starting in the 1970s as a computer programmer.  Throughout his life. he had a special passion for Karate. Ted began a Karate Club in Bethel, Alaska, which included members from 6 to 60+ years of age.  After retiring as Coordinator of Technology for the Lower Kuskokwim School District in Bethel, Alaska, he circumnavigated the Pacific for seven years with Pam Lau, his wife.  Since moving to Shorecrest in 2016, Ted has taken yoga class and has experienced positive results from his practice. South Sound Yoga and Wellness Group has greatly benefited from Ted’s interest and participation as treasurer and Webmaster guru.
